Playing music is what I do for a living, and although I enjoy my work, I also take it very seriously. The band at a wedding reception or other event can have a big impact on how the evening goes. As veterans of thousands of performances, our band has been instrumental in bringing a great time to many satisfied clients. We feel confident that we can make your event a success as well.

Typically, most wedding receptions require two distinctly different bands---starting with a quiet ensemble playing background music allowing guests time to mingle & to reminisce with the bride & groom. The quiet music continues through dinner or hors d'oeuvres, but at a certain point the "other band" needs to kick the party into gear. With high-energy dance music, along with other special numbers, this band is instrumental in replacing the stress of all the preparations and planning with a great time.

With our group, you get both bands, as well as a group that can play some country music, salsa, ethnic favorites, big band, you name it. We also provide a sound system, including CD player for continuous music during the band breaks. You get all this at a competitive price.

When we're not playing weddings & corporate events, we like to get together and play some of our own music, and other completely inappropriate stuff! Under the name Grenade, we focus on music for its own sake, and we play at jazz clubs & festivals. The solos are too long, the band gets too loud, and we play too many notes.....all the stuff we don't do when it's our livelihood!

I've also included information and history about the award-winning TKOh! This band was a Sunday night favorite from 1994-2001, focusing on 70's funk & soul, and featuring some of the greatest musicians in the Houston area, including more horn players than you could shake a stick at. Currently on hiatus, you never know when we might wake this beast up.....
